On this live digital recording, Needle (aka Edward Bobb) takes us on a journey through electronic sound in an amazing display of his artistry and innovation. Sub bass and ultra sound frequencies on the edge of the audible spectrum, digital clicks, pops, tones, and extreme effects create an environment that envelop and transport the listener in both linear and random directions.
Needle is one of the South Florida's experimental music pioneers and has been featured on releases by Elegua Records, Starfish Pool, Beta Bodega, and Mille Plateaux.
'Needle: Live @ Subtropics 14' was performed live at PS742 in Miami as part of the 14th Subtropics New Music Festival on March 3, 2002.
